Report: Olsen Treated for Eating Disorder

the news that mary kate is anorexic isn’t really shocking news… she’s always been the thinner of the two… however i do hope she gets better soon… i don’t think the country wants to hear that theres gonna be a funeral for one of the two of americas HOTTEST TWINS… i know i don’t

You are right. It was clear that MK was anorexic from the most recent pictures of her, but it was still a big shcok for me. I don’t understand why someone who has so much money, although her parents did divorce, would feel so sad that she would starve herself? MK was definitely not chubby at all so what fat did she see? It shows how real they really are.

i hope that mary kate gets better…and people have been saying that she was so skinny, how could she see herself fat…it’s the anorexia…it results in her physical appearance, but it all starts in her head…her mind convinces her that she is not beautiful and that she cant be attractive until she is thin enough. THis is why both male and female victims of ana die…they drive themselves to be thinner all the time. Their poor little bodies cant take it. Fell better Mary-Kate, i know that you can get through this. Eating disorders are hard…everybody needs to get involved…but when you finally recover…treat your body wonderfully. And she is still beautiful, anorexic or not.

I don’t feel sorry for Mary Kate. At first I did. But now, no sympathy comes from me. She got the treatment, started looking healthy again, and what’s the first thing she wants to do? Hit up the clubs. She should have been taking time out to relax and get herself together. To make sure she was really cured. Aneroxia is something that can stay with you for a while. But instead, she goes out to shake her tailfeather! No sympathy at all. She’s bringing it on herself.

I sympathize 100% with Mary-Kate, since I’ve been enduring the struggle of having anorexia for 4 years now. I’m sure she doesn’t expect pity or extra attention—if anything, most likely she wants LESS attention— but I think it is incredibly rude for people who don’t understand eating disorders and what she’s going through to leave negative comments about her. An ED is NOT something that you just “get over” - for the majority of people, it is something that haunts you for the rest of your life. It’s a coping mechanism, and it is very easy to fall back into, no matter how much treatment you get. ..so people should lay off her. I hope that she’s able to stay at a stable weight, but the last thing she needs is every eye of the media scrutinizing her every second of the day. I wish her the best in a lifelong battle that both her and millions of other girls will be fighting everyday. I feel your pain…Good luck MK! (as if she would get to read this..heheh)

i want to be anorexic im overweigth and i have tried so many diets its not fare i just wanna lose it its so hard im so fat i think MK is lucky to be so small

I cannot believe someone said they WANT to be ana. Eating disorders are a real problem, not a diet or a quick fix for your insecurities. What this person said is offensive and incredibly ignorant. Nobody should want an eating disorder. You should seriously consider thinking before posting. As for MK, I wish her all the best in recovering. I know that eds are very hard to overcome.

People were actually shocked that someone in the entertainment biz is anorexic? Geesh I’m surprised when i read that they aren’t , or that their boobs are real….there is a price to pay for everythin people

How do you feel?
