Britney Spears, 22, is gearing up for her role as stepmother, meeting one of the two children fathered by her fiancé, Kevin Federline, 26, with his ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson, 27.
At her website Spears thanked her fans for congratulating her on her plans to marry Federline. The wedding is to take place in the coming weeks.
Spears also thanked her fans for sending get well wishes while she recovers from a knee injury.
