Britney Spears DNA: build your own pop star

I guess the hope that having Britney Spears' DNA was just was the ambitious home clone builder might need. eBay, considering DNA a bodily artifact, doesn't allow DNA to be auctions.
Potential buyers were told: "For you budding scientists out there, this means Britney's DNA is all over this piece." The seller was forced to withdraw the gum, but yesterday it was back for sale.
But eBay doesn't mind if you peddle discarded celebrity chewing gum. Will the winner preserve the gum in its, ahem, purity? Or will he chew it a bit himself. Perhaps he'll just tenderly kiss the wad. Really it is best we don't know.
"It is completely preserved as you can see, with Britney's teeth marks highly visible! This is the chance to own a piece of pop history - right from the mouth of the princess of pop herself!"
