I went to my local Macy’s store & smelled a sample of Paris Hilton’s new fragrance. To me it smells a bit like cotton candy, at least that’s what I told the sales lady at the counter.
It doesn’t impress me much, i.e. the fragrance. I was expecting it to be some fabulous scent that would be better than the ones already at the stores but alas it wasn’t so.
At least the fragrance isn’t heavy but rather light & airy, more of a spring item. I didn’t buy the bottle but rather was given a vial of the sample.
I wonder if she’s coming out with a lotion, bath gel, etc. Hmmm……..

I bought Paris Hilton’s perfume yesterday just because so many people were talking about it but the smell is disappointing. I guess I expected too much, I don’t know i thought it would be cooler since Paris is so stylish but the perfume smelled soft and cheap to me. Anyway it wasn’t that bad, all you who are interested in Paris, should definetely check it out if you haven’t already.

I don’t think this perfume will last long…Pop Culture lasts but the names on the menu are constantly changing…this is a fad and not the fad i want to smell like. I think she would be more convincing in the porn industry than in the cosmetic world. Power to the Porn, Paris!!

Anyone who says Paris’ perfume smells bad is just hating on her. This is one of the best smelling perfumes, followed by Yves Saint Laurent’s Babydoll. I love that it smells clean and fresh. It doesn’t smell cheap. Give it a chance and take the time to smell it. I give her credit for what she’s done. And for Britney, give her a break I think Curious smells good too. Well at least it smells better than stinky Chanel perfumes.

I got the perfume for Christmas and I think the smell is very fresh and feminine… similar to Ralph Lauren’s Ralph. Even though I don’t believe it to be so “Paris Hiltonish” (expected it more Gucci-like), I still like the smell, and would buy it as soon as I run out of it!

Paris Hilton’s perfume is very nice. It is soft and sweet-smelling. I don’t know about its staying power- unfortunately, soft-smelling perfumes often fade a lot faster than all those noxious scents that remind me of chemical waste- but if I hear good things on that front I might well add it to my collection. Britney Spears’ curious is a really wonderful celebrity perfume. It’s a bit stronger and, I think, more complex than Paris’, but I really fell in love with it and bought the gift set with the 3.4 oz bottle…

It is great to read all the comments about the Paris Hilton fragrance. As one of the perfumers who created the scent I am amazed at how perceptive many of the insights are and amused by the comments that are totally “off-base”. To the people who think the fragrance should be more “upscale” - very few people are sitting around in thier Gucci lofers watching “The Simple Life”.

I had never heard of Paris’ new perfume, but fell in love with it when my boyfriend bought it for me for my birthday. It is light, but it has definite staying power which is a plus. It smells the same way I would imagine Paris does, light, a little fruity, a little floral, a lot of sexy!!! I love it, its HOT!
