Barbie Looks Like a Tramp!

So opines a Barbie historian. Not only is Barbie becoming a pin-up queen you’ll be able to wear adult-sized Barbie clothes or even get married in Barbie’s wedding gown.

“Barbie has always been the queen, but there’s a lot of competition out there, especially from the Bratz, which are taking a chunk out of her popularity,” says Kathy Merlock Jackson, a pop-culture scholar at Virginia Wesleyan College. “This is taking her in a different direction.”

Mattel’s new line of “Pin-Up Girls” is for adults who appreciate ’50s cheesecake
