Blow : A Word With Many Meanings

An interview with Isabella Blow:

Lipstick, like hats, is Blow’s trademark. “I’m obsessed with lips,” she says. “If you don’t wear lipstick, I can’t talk to you. You need to have lips - they’re very important for getting men.”

So it’s fitting that she has just created a new lipstick with the cosmetics company MAC. The lipstick is called - what else? - Blow! “I love the word ‘blow’. It has so many meanings,” she says, and it’s obvious which her favourite one is. It always seemed to me that her interest in fashion was driven mostly by her interest in sex.

My husband ran off with a lesbian… so I fell for a gondolier
