“It makes me laugh when people have a go at me for being anti-feminist, because how do you explain the fact that women like me so much? And you know, the girls I’ve always admired the most - Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe and Rita Hayworth - they were actually girls’ girls. They were this combination of beauty and playfulness but also kindness. You felt like you could leave them in a room alone with your man and you’d be fine. My routine is sexual but with that little wink of the eye and for that reason very few women are intimidated by me. Mostly I hope they’re just thinking, ‘Gee, I want to ride a giant carousel horse, too.”’
