Gripping Bra Gripes

An adhesive bra designed to be worn with strapless dresses is under attack.

The warning is due to the silicone content of the bra, which gives it its grip but can also irritate the skin of some wearers.

It states that the bra - which is 100 per cent polyester has a ‘silicone edge’, adding: “Any customers who experience discomfort or an adverse reaction should discontinue wearing it.

M&S bra can only be worn for eight hours

The article quotes a woman complaining that she’d have to remove the gripping bra while grocery shopping. Why is she buying spinach in a strapless garment? The gripping bra seems more like a gimmick for women to wear on an evening out.

And the caveat is a pro forma way for Marks and Spencer to protect itself.
