Straight guys won’t use the word makeup but are willing to employ cosmetics if they draw women.
Over the last couple years we’ve seen heterosexual males warm up to more meticulous grooming habits - the whole metrosexual/”Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” phenomenon.
Now, a line of makeup for guys has made its first foray into Iowa - in grocery stores rather than salons or department stores. It’s billed as “the first undetectable skin-care line developed for men’s skin.”
This Nashville-based line called M‘naji includes everything from eye gel (dab away your dark circles and puffiness) to full-blown concealer and foundation. There’s polishing scrub to “clean out environmental toxins”; skin toner to zap wrinkles; face powder infused with antioxidants.
