Shorter the skirt, the higher the retail price

Are the 70s back? Might as well go all the way to hotpants. Prices rise with the hem line.
Unfortunately, sauntering and standing are about the only things you can do in these eight-inch-long skirts, because the hemline makes sitting prohibitive.
The trendy fashion item in discussion is generally a low-rising, hip-hugging skirt made of denim, corduroy or cotton. Some are pleated, making the skirts reminiscent of a very short school uniform or ultra sexy cheer-leading skirt. Others are straight. They come in a variety of colors, pink being popular.

The people all over the country are up in arms not so much about the folks who could pull this off. It’s the ones who wear size 11 and obviously can’t pull it off. What do you expect though. The consumer culture has been reinforced with the notion that one can BUY their way into everything (even a good body).
Speaking as a person who does wear stuff like that, I’d also have to admit that it sometimes sends the message of desperation. Because c’mon, the top 1% hottest looking people are ALWAYS trying to hide it. The last thing that want is attention.

People may yet discover that you can’t emulate those who are so beautiful that it would show in a burlap sack by just copying their hairstyle.
Hard to know what to say, having seen photographs of you in a very short skirt (I guess I’m remembering the photo that surprised me by how much I enjoyed seeing it) it is hard to match your use of them as desperation.
