24 hours of fame is more than Andy Warhol promised -
Break.com, the premier user-generated online entertainment network with over 13 million unique monthly visitors, and StuffMagazine.com today announced a competition that leverages Break.com’s widely popular “Girl of the Day” (GOTD) feature and StuffMagazine.com’s young men’s lifestyle content.
In a showcase of America’s hottest up-and-coming aspiring models, one lucky ingenue will win an all-expenses paid trip to New York City to participate in her very own photo shoot, which will appear exclusively on StuffMagazine.com.
Beginning today, girls are invited to submit their photos for consideration in the Break.com/StuffMagazine.com GOTD contest. Each day, from July 1 through August 15, Break.com viewers will cast a vote for their favorite GOTD until 10 finalists are determined. From these 10 finalists, three StuffMagazine.com editors will select the contest winner based on overall presentation, answers to entry questions and the originality and sexiness of the pictures submitted. The grand prize includes a professional photo shoot, airfare and two nights in a New York City hotel.
GOTD, a popular feature on Break.com since it launched in September 2005, invites female users to submit their photos to appear on the site. Selected from thousands of applicants, each daily winner receives a cash prize of $50, while Break.com viewers vote on their favorite for each month. The top rated girl of the month receives a prize of $500.
“We are excited to collaborate with StuffMagazine.com, one of the best-known web brands for young men, to offer this amazing opportunity to aspiring models,” said Keith Richman, CEO of Break.com. “The intense exposure the finalists will receive through our combined websites rivals any network show. This competition will give someone a legitimate chance to get her foot in the door in the high-stakes world of modeling.”
“Now any hopeful model can submit photos of herself to Break.com and end up alongside such gorgeous celebrities as Stacy Keibler, Brooke Burke and Carmen Electra on StuffMagazine.com,” says StuffMagazine.com editor Gene Newman.
