George Michael says that there may have been homoerotic qualities to the group’s music but he never thought of sleeping with someone who’d been his best pal since they were young lads.

Michael’s ex-manager Simon Napier-Bell recently claimed there was a “beguiling homoerotic intimacy” between the two musicians.

But openly gay Michael dismisses talk of any homosexual activity with straight Ridgeley, because it would be “vile” to him.
