Bikini Realty

As tough and aggressive as work as a realtor can be I’m surprised no one had thought of it before.
Ms. Heath’s billboard forced her to severe her relationship with one realty agency but has found a place at another.
Realtor Wendy Heath chose to wear a bikini on a billboard she posted earlier this month on Second Street and Claremont Avenue in Belmont Shore. The advertisement is turning heads quicker than a Naples Island open house.
“It’s kind of flipped people out,” said Heath, who reported receiving almost as many calls from Realtors upset with the ad as those voicing support. “A couple of agents are having a fit about it, but that’s because they just didn’t think of it first.”

Well, as a fellow realtor, but also someone with the body to exactly what she did, I think she took the blonde-bimbo way out. If we, as professioanl real estate agents, have to result to using our scantilly-clad bodies to gain clients, maybe we need to look inside ourselves at what we are lacking professionally.
There are many tough real estate markets nationwide, but when we tear-down the image we are are struggling so hard to display (which is that every real estate transaction benefits from the experience and knowledge that only a professional realtor can provide), we essentially lose all that we have worked to achieve. Thanks, Ms. Heath, for destroying all our credibility in one fell, ditzy swoop.
If she can’t “stay the tide”, maybe she should get off the wave.
Thank you.
