Maxmin has extended its brand into unlikely venues like office furniture. The latest deal is a Maxim branded hotel and casino in Las Vegas.

But not every offshoot has panned out for the company. Maxim Magazine Haircare, a deal with Combe, the maker of the Just for Men hair color line, recently came to an end. The market for men desiring to frost their hair with colors like Beach Blond and Red Rum turned out to be short-lived. And a more logical offshoot, a deal with New Line Cinema to create movies under a Maxim Presents heading, no longer exists, as a result of that classic Hollywood roadblock — creative differences.
