Sexy Shoe Ad Sparks Complaints

Britain’s Advertising Standards Authority wrote to Patrick Cox about the shoe ad that offended a few people. He didn’t deign to reply.

I think the ad sounds rather nifty.

The ad for shoes, published in Harpers And Queen and Vogue, showed a photo of a man’s naked backside with his trousers round his knees and a woman wearing only knickers and shoes crouching beside him.

The sexy blonde was grabbing the man’s buttock whilst biting the side of his leg.

Designer Cox censured over saucy shoes advert
