Russ Meyer’s Black Snake is finally about to come out on DVD. In it Anouska Hempel played a cruel dominatrix. Now she’s Lady Weinberg, her life made glossy by wealth and social prestiges. The last thing she wanted was for her role in an old exploitation movie to be found out.
In the film, shot on Barbados, Weinberg plays Lady Susan Walker, a dominatrix who satiates her desires by whipping black male slaves on her 19th-century cotton plantation. Her long leather whip lashes out at every slave in sight until they rebel. She is then raped by a slave and a half-witted mute.
