Joyce Compton reigned as Hollywood's favorite “dumb blonde” during its Golden Age, appearing in dozens of movies between 1925 and 1958. Over the course of her career, she played chorus girls, nurses, waitresses, secretaries and even ladies of the evening. You may have seen her in several classics, without even realizing it.
