I never assumed that Sarah Jessica Parker was really Carrie Bradshaw. But I never guessed she found the character she played on Sex and the City so alien, much less the reasons why.

Parker has such a pronounced puritanical streak she found Carrie’s dialogue too vulgar. She also doesn’t drink or smoke pot: who cares?

But this is sort of sad:
